Licensed Counselling Therapist – Candidate

Kyle specializes in Anxiety, OCD, Perfectionism and People-Pleasing. He takes on a trauma-informed and values-based approach to help clients heal their past and to build better futures. He works from a curious and non-judgemental stance in order to identify how clients would like their lives to be different, and what barriers are in their way.

Through extensive experience as a client himself, Kyle has learned what works in therapy and understands the challenges his clients face. Kyle believes that by asking the right questions, finding the challenges worth taking on and standing with his clients, he can help them get to where they want to be.

Kyle has completed trainings in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Trauma-Focused ACT and incorporates themes from DBT and Internal Family Systems. He focuses on helping clients connect with themselves, emotionally regulate and become more effective in the areas of their lives that they would most like to change. Kyle is always available for virtual appointments with a few opportunities for in- person work.
